Comforted by a Robin

Every time I see a robin sitting on a tree branch or standing on a green lawn, I think about how God used a robin to comfort me. One day in 2017, I came to work late because I had ran some errands, and I was sitting in my car to kill time. I was also trying mentally prepare myself before I went inside the building.

Refuse to be Discouraged like Nehemiah

I’ve read the story of Nehemiah several times and this time (you can check out my previous blog post about Nehemiah here), I was amazed to see how it related to my current situation. I’ve been working on staying close to God, reading my bible a little more, trying to remember who He is and not believe lies from the enemy about God, myself, and what God has promised me.

Finding Peace in the Midst of Chaos

I’m sure you all have heard about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) which started in Wuhan, China, and has spread to various countries and nationwide in the United States. People have died from it, but others are recovering. Celebrities such as Tom Hanks and his wife, Idris Elba, and some NBA players have also contracted the disease. They were frightened but they kept going. Those scenes reminded me of how we’re on our … Continue reading Lessons from the Wizard of Oz

Continue to Be You

black casual woman on white background

If you are an introvert, loner, quiet person, or heck, if you feel you can relate to this post, then this is for you.

I’m an introvert who’s quiet and a loner. I’ve always been quiet and introverted since I was a child but I became a loner as an adult (in my thirties?) because it’s more peaceful not dealing with other people’s junk and ulterior motives; I have my own stuff to deal with (now that’s not to say I won’t help someone in need).
