What is your favorite type of weather?

My favorite type of weather is when it’s warm and sunny. I love how the sun makes everything look brighter, radiant, and more alive. The grass looks green and lush and the trees are full of green leaves. The birds seem to enjoy the warmer weather, too, because I can hear them singing outside my bedroom window. I look forward to the warm weather because I can shed the bulky coats, jackets, and sweaters and wear T-shirts, blouses, and skirts. I no longer have to shiver as I wait for heat to warm up my home or my car. I also like driving with my windows down and blasting music as the warm breezes gently brush my skin and my hair.

Parks and botanical gardens are my favorite places to visit so I can take pictures of beautiful, colorful plants and flowers. Sometimes it’s just nice to sit comfortably outside to enjoy bird watching, reading, journaling, and hearing laughter and delightful shrieks of children playing at the playground.

And I’m not the only one who enjoys warmer weather. When the sun is out, it’s like we’re all invited to a party; more people are out and about to hang out with their family and friends. People seem to be more lively and upbeat.

On some days, the weather is so warm and sunny, I’ll feel like I want to stay outside all day. But I’ve got to get back home to finish things that need to be done and to get rest. The good thing is there will be another sunny day for me to enjoy. Thank you God!
